The Gilded Girl is going to Italy!
The Gilded Girl is making off to bella Italia for a fantastic buying and discovery trip this March. She will be finding the best in indie and luxury beauty for you all in Venice, Bologna, Florence, Naples, The Amalfi Coast, and Rome.
She will visit places such as Santa Maria Novella Farmacia - the world's oldest working pharmacy. Opened in 1221 by Dominican monks who began growing their own herbs to make salves, balms and tinctures for their infirmary. Over the centuries, they created fragrances and moisturizers. Today, Santa Maria Novella uses the same recipes created by the monks so long ago.
Plus, the store is located in a former Papal residence, so aesthetically, it's got it going on.
The highlight of the trip will be attending the Cosmoprof Bologna tradeshow, where she will meet makers and sellers of the world's top beauty brands. Being able to experience the products first hand is so important in deciding which to bring back to YOU. Only the best will do.
