Meow Meow Tweet Face Mask Recipes
Here's just a sampling of the great skin treatments you can give yourself using Meow Meow Tweet's Face Mask.
Oily Skin:
Mix a dime sized amount of powder with 1 teaspoon water and 1 teaspoon of witch hazel to create a paste. You can scale up as needed, but this should be enough to cover your entire face. The paste need not be in applied in a thick layer to be effective! Let sit until dry, approximately 15 minutes, rinse with tepid water and pat dry. Use light moisturizer immediately following removal of the mask.
Dry Skin:
Mix a dime sized amount of powder with a tablespoon of either mashed banana or mashed avocado. Mix just enough water to thin out the mixture. Apply to face and leave for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with tepid water and pat dry. Apply moisturizer immediately following removal of the mask.
Acne:
Mix a dime sized amount of powder with 1 teaspoon of water and .5 tablespoon of honey. Add more water if mask needs more thinning in order to spread. Apply to face and leave for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with tepid water and pat dry.
Exfoliation:
Mix a dime sized amount of powder with 1 tablespoon of yogurt or .5 tablespoon of whole milk. Apply to entire face and let sit for approximately 20 minutes. Rinse with tepid water and pat dry. Apply moisturizer immediately following removal of the mask.
Sensitive skin:
Mix a dime sized amount of powder with an equal amount of dry oatmeal. Add 1 tablespoon of water. Apply to entire face and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Carefully remove mask with cool water and immediately apply moisturizer.
You can experiment with other household ingredients, too. Just avoid citrus products, as they are too acidic. You can test sensitivity by doing a patch test on your wrist before applying it to your face.
